Take a Step on Your Healing Journey
We know that healing does not come without support. We bring our allies together in this work to provide resources for all those who have endured CSA. Many survivors will dig for hours looking for resources, so we created a place where survivors can find therapists, community groups, lawyers, and more.

Community groups

The Gatehouse is a community-funded, non-profit organization dedicated to offering services and support to survivors of childhood sexual abuse across Canada.
Our strategy is focused on providing a range of support and outreach, both formal and informal, to empower those impacted by childhood sexual abuse.

Community Justice Initiatives (CJI) is anon-profit organization known world-wide for starting the first Restorative Justice program involved with the criminal legal system.
We provide conflict resolution services, support for people impacted by sexual trauma, assistance for families involved with child protection, reintegration support for adults returning to the community from prison, connection support for older adults and co-housing support.
ORganizations

Our Vision: A country that is demonstrably there for all people who have been impacted by childhood sexual violence.
Our Mission: To end childhood sexual violence in Canada, within all of its populations and institutions.

Through public action and peer support, SNAP is building a future where no institution is beyond justice and no survivor stands alone. Our global community works to end sexual abuse in faith-based organizations by transforming laws, institutions, and lives.
SNAP Survivors Network is the world’s oldest and largest community of survivors of clergy and institutional sexual abuse.
Justice organizations

We are lawyers helping those exploited by a person in a position of trust or authority or by someone upon whom they were dependent in the institutional context. We work in civil claims, not criminal, and the laws now provide access to compensation even if many years have passed. Free consultations.

Survivors for Justice Reform (S4JR) is a global, volunteer-run, survivor-led coalition rooted in anti-oppression. We are survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence, human trafficking, and systemic harm—alongside our allies—united to advance policy change that challenges the failures and violence of punitive, carceral systems.

AMPERSANDS RESTORATIVE JUSTICE
A human-centered approach to repairing and preventing harm.
Restorative justice is a survivor-centered process that treats all people with equal humanity. It focuses on the needs of the person who has been harmed, while offering the person who has caused harm the support necessary to be fully accountable and responsible for their actions. It places an obligation on that person to help relieve the harm, without causing more of it.
